It's another case of David versus Goliath when war movie The Hurt Locker won over Avatar for the Best Picture honors at the 82nd Oscar’s. The biggest winner of the night was director Kathryn Bigelow for being the first woman to win the top directorial award also for the The Hurt Locker, beating ex-husband, King of the World - James Cameron, for Avatar.
